Dr. Lynda R. Roberts received her B.S. in Microbiology from Northwestern State University at Natchitoches in 1982. She received her Doctorate of Medicine from Louisiana State University School of Medicine at Shreveport in 1986. Dr. Roberts completed her Family Practice Residency in 1989 at the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in Shreveport. She is Board Certified in Family Practice and has been a member of the American Academy of Family Practice since 1986.
Dr. Roberts had always practiced Family Medicine in the state of Louisiana for 18 years. Dr. Roberts was a member of the medical staff at the Ochsner Clinic of Baton Rouge Department of Family Practice from July 1989 to May 2007. She is a member of the Louisiana Academy of Family Practice since 1989. She was a member of the American Academy of Sleep Medicine from 2002-2006. She had been a Clinical Preceptor for third year medical students doing Family Practice rotation at the LSU Medical Center and at Tulane Medical Center in New Orleans. She was also a staff member at the Ochsner Clinic of Baton Rouge Sleep Disorders Center from 2002-2007. Her community service work includes working at mission clinics in Macua, Honduras and Benin.
Dr. Roberts stated, “I am excited to be back in Natchitoches and look forward to being an active part of this community.” She has a special interest in the care and management of diabetic patients.
